Najbardziej zdziwił mnie zapis, a dokładnie jakość zapisu na nośnikach DVD-R. Myślałem, że lepiej napęd wypadnie z plusami, a tu niespodzianka. Jakby nie ten problem z plusami, to nota byłaby wyższa.

Najgorsza była wtopa z rozpoznawaniem nośników. Serio ma z tym problem. Ale myslę że nowy FW załatwi przynajmniej ten problem, a i jakość zapisu pewnie się poprawi. Jeżeli tak się stanie, to będzie to całkiem dobra wypalarka. Szkoda, że audio buforuje.

A sporo było tych nośników, z którymi nagrywarka miała problem? Jakiej firmy to były?

Testowy DVD-ROM DL (Film "Piraci"), kilka płyt audio tłoczonych, Verbatim... i jakieś tańsze dwie sztuki... no i nieszczęsna CD-RW x24 Plextora

thanks for the review . want to ask if the drive could be crossflashed to Lite-On LH-18A1H or any Samsung equivalent. sorry for posting in english but I don't speak Polish.

Hello. I think there is no reason to crossflashing SPD6003BD to LH-18A1P. Those drives are equal in performance and write quality (approximately) but Philips has a very good firmware update system (Philips Agent), so i don't see the reason to changing philips into liteon.

But if You still want to crossflash this philips and You find some way to do that, it should be working, IMHO.

Try to use software called FlashFix. This is small application for LiteON drives and their OEM's which gave you posibility to unlock the drive's type and model discovering security mechanism in firmware update software for LiteON and LiteON OEM's. After this operation there should be posibility to load new firmware to Philips (liteON OEM) - but this is only my... what if..

thanks for the kind reply misiek1928. I wonder if SPD6003 is crossflashable because I have the chance to use the SPD6002 which is almost the same as SPD6003. SPD6002 and SPD2412 (18x drive as 6002 and 6003 but without Lighstcribe) are Samsung OEMs and coudn't be successfully crossflashed netiher to Lite-On nor to Samsung. also the last letter of the models name in Windows is T which stands for TSSTcorp. confusing thing is that SPD6003 ends with P, which was used for Nexperia chipset drives, but the drive has Mediatek chipset. therefore I'm so curious about crossflashing
